Its small size and the fact that it can be positioned beside the road on any sort of existing support (sign posts, lighting poles, etc.) make this product easy to install without in any way blocking traffic and without endangering the personnel assigned to monitor traffic.
The heart of the system is a very small doppler radar sensor able to identify the vehicles driving along two lanes, even if running in opposite directions, and to determine their length and the date and time of passage.
The system can be calibrated semi-automatically and parameters can be entered using special software designed for PC and hand-held computers.
